You Can Travel and Do Real Estate

 Our Vacation Homes 

After traveling and falling in love with a few different places, we decided to take our real estate portfolio over state and country lines! 

We started the vacation portfolio side with a vacation membership due to its low risk. Our first membership was purchased in Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Villas beach resort. We bought this with the goals to travel with friends, family and business partners and it has worked out. We have used our membership to book vacations at other amazing resorts within Cabo for less than $500 a week! We have since upgraded and now own the 1st week of the year at the Cabo Villas 4 bedroom penthouse. When we aren’t able to go-we offer this week for sale. 

Our family also enjoys skiing, which can get expensive when booking 2-3 bedroom condos, often last minute due to our lifestyle. This made me start searching for ski properties and I found a condo in Granby, Colorado for 95k. Again, feeling like the price was...

Real Life in Real Estate

A quick history of my real estate background- I was drawn to real estate for the flexible schedule and was hopeful for a great income. When I started this career, I was pregnant with my first child in 2009. It required two classes that I took in person. I took the first class with child, gave birth to our daughter Hannah during my short week break and finished the second class while breastfeeding. That’s flexibility!! I passed my classes and moved on to take my test. Thankfully I passed my test on the first try and attribute that to taking the Randall’s School of Real Estate Prep course. The questions were similar to the practice tests given. All of this was in 2009 and I joined Nebraska Realty as a brand new agent. 

I absolutely loved the people and immediately was assigned a mentor who threw me in her car and took me along for the real estate ride! She taught me a lot, however I didn’t feel like the brokerage could provide me the full learning experience...
